1. Scope

These terms and conditions apply to all contracts between Anaïs Chakir & Leah Jondral (Wissen on the Road – Chakir & Jondral GbR) and consumers (Section 13 of the German Civil Code) who book lessons through this website.

2. Services

We offer online German lessons for children and teenagers, which can be taken individually, in pairs, or in small groups. Lessons are conducted via video conferencing platforms such as Zoom. A standard lesson lasts 40 minutes. Longer lessons can be arranged upon request. Further details regarding our services can be found in the relevant descriptions on our website.

3. Conclusion of Contract

Bookings are made directly with the provider upon request. The customer submits a request for an appointment, after which a suitable date is agreed upon. The contract is concluded upon the provider’s written confirmation of the appointment.

4. Payment Terms

The current prices are listed on the website under the section “Courses”. Payment must be made in advance using the payment methods specified by the provider. The appointment will take place after payment has been received.

5. Cancellation of Appointments

Appointments may be canceled or rescheduled free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time. If canceled later than 24 hours before the scheduled start time, the lesson will be charged or deducted from the lesson package.

6. Validity of Hour Packages

Booked lesson packages must be used within the following periods:

Five 40-minute sessions within 10 weeks
Ten 40-minute sessions within 20 weeks
Fifteen 40-minute sessions within 30 weeks
Twenty 40-minute sessions within 40 weeks

Unused lessons expire after the applicable period. Packages are not renewed automatically.

7. Technical Requirements

To participate in online classes, you need a device with a camera and microphone, as well as a stable internet connection. Participants are responsible for ensuring that they meet these technical requirements.

8. Liability

We are not liable for technical issues on the participant’s end.

In the event of a cancellation on our part, we will offer an alternative appointment.

9. Copyright

All provided materials are protected by copyright and may not be shared or published without prior permission.

10. Final Provisions

German law applies. Should any provision of these terms and conditions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.

Cancellation Policy:

⁠You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The cancellation period is 14 days from the date the contract is concluded.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us, Anaïs Chakir & Leah Jondral, of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g., via email).
